A search here for moving options came up empty. (Surprising!)

Wondered what the options were for moving our stuff from Bangkok to Phuket?

Most Thais tell us they use the Post Office for everything (and we will probably use their motorbike delivery).

We wondered if there was a moving truck option? Rent a guy and a truck for a day? Pay expenses and rental fees. Maybe even get to ride with him to relocate?

Advice and web addresses (english or Thai) are appreciated!

Yes it is easy and normal to hire a truck/driver for such moves - they park along side streets here in Bangkok awaiting customers with telephone number on side of trucks - they can hire additional people if required and you can ride with them if you want. Normally any local MC taxi driver will be able to take you to them or obtain telephone numbers.

Yes there are more expensive professional options for those having company pay for a move - but this is not the normal method of move so not much competition for price.
