Featured Replies

Hey Guys,

Would be happy to get some advice.

I forgot my headphones (worth €180) in Germany.

I live in a condo in Bangkok.

Whats the best way to send them to here ?

Or isnt that recommandable at all ?

Im a bit worried if they will arive to be honest because I have never send something to her in the past.

Thank you for your help wai2.gif

Germany uses DHL, its not a good idea unless you are prepared to pay 20% + Vat + Fees

Make sure you use a signed and insured option.

No you are very wrong!

In Germany is DHL and DHL.

You send per DHL (the express service) and you get problems.

You send normal post (which is called DHL crazy.gif ) declare a low value (no I don't mean cheating....what is a used headphone worth? Selling price if you find a customer? 20 Euro??) Declare that and you have a 90 % chance that it comes without problems.

10 % that it goes to customs.

h90 thanks for clearing things up. So its not DHL in Germany, but DHL or DHL.

Suddenly it all becomes clear.
