Just booked 2 return tickets from Pattaya (Utapao) to Chaing Mai for the grand total of 760 bahts. Can't believe how cheap that is. Have to book well in advance but worth it. Many other destinations available.

More of a marketing lottery.

I poked through about the first two weeks of May (which is a low season month).

Cheapest was 590 which is not that exceptional.

Including baggage and "payment fee" it will end at about 800 or so.

Many days starting 800 to 1900 including nothing.

During off-season this year I flew multiple times with ThaiSmile to/from Suvarnabhumi(!) for about 1000 Baht all incl.

But prices for this month are ridicolous though (1800 e.g.).

Looks like ThaiSmile is a nogo nowadays.

Prices have risen significantly all over.

Suv. not below 1380.
