November 28, 201510 yr My wife and I have started to eat healthy, but most of the blogs and books are on western food, She'll eat it but she refers to it as eating like a cow ;0) I'm wondering if there someone that has published a book or blog on healthy thai cooking, or at least spicy healthy eating.
November 28, 201510 yr There's squillions of books on Thai cooking, if your in Thailand head to any decent book store, most western countries carry a good range of Thai cook books too, it is one of the popular cuisine of the world.....you know.... If you know some Thai recipe names google Taste.com.
November 28, 201510 yr Author I know there are a ton of thai cookbooks however most thai dishes are not particularly great on a diet. Hence looking for healthy version of thai food
November 28, 201510 yr I choose the dish i like and if one particular item is not what i consider to be healthy or beneficial i change it or delete it or reduce it, to be honest doesn't matter what the cook book is about in say 30 recipes maybe only 4 or 5 would appeal to me anyway but to get those 4 or 5 i need to buy the book. You could do what i do and thats search out asian style and vegetarian cook books then spice them up with ginger and or chilli, its about being creative.
November 29, 201510 yr http://thai.food.com/healthy http://www.chivasom.com/the-spa-cuisine/recipes/ (They also do a recipe book) http://www.epicurious.com/archive/healthy/nutritiousdishes/healthythairecipes
November 29, 201510 yr Nearest to your requirement I know of is Jackum Brown's 'vegetarian thai' (ISBN 0 600 59406 8). If you weren't vegetarian, I think you could add meat to many of the dishes without spoiling them.
November 29, 201510 yr Author While the vegetarian selections look tasty, vegetarian isn't any more particularly healthy. Especially if your goal is weight loss. I did find one interesting book http://www.amazon.com/THE-ORIGINAL-THAI-PALEO-DIET-ebook/dp/B00VDFLO6K
