Lucky Air lands in Cambodia

Lucky for some! Sihanoukville Airport in Cambodia welcomed its first scheduled Chinese service on 26 November with the arrival of Lucky Air’s twice-weekly 737-800 service from Kunming.

  • Lucky Air has become the first Chinese airline to start scheduled services to Sihanoukville (KOS) in Cambodia. The twice-weekly service (operated Thursdays and Sundays) from Kunming (KMG) launched on 26 November using the carrier’s 737-800s. Not surprisingly, the 1,605-kilometre route is not operated by any other carrier. Sihanoukville is located on Cambodia’s south-west coast and its many beaches and nearby islands make it Cambodia’s leading seaside resort.
