beef oil in pattaya

Hi all,

I am trying to find beef oil like we use in Belgium to fry our fries. Does anybody know if they sell it in Thailand and where i can find it?

I live in Pattaya, impossible to find. I also looked at western food importers but they dont have it either.

All info is welcome.

Like some of that also, Lard is from pigs and is similar, did see a thread about it somewhere

go into makro or try the local markets and buy the pork fat and render it down,the same with beef dripping but you can only get the beef fat off meat you buy.

one problem i find with the rendered pork and beef it burns too easily when making chips,its ok.for roarst tatties with a little olive oil.
