December 1, 201510 yr Is there somethings like a pledge in place for empty Cigarette boxes ? My local Minimart (well not so mini, but no-brand local) pays me 4 Baht per box. Just dumped 17 boxes, got a new one Free!
December 1, 201510 yr Haven't heard anything like this.... but it made me curious. You really had 17 empty cigarette boxes lying around to cash in? Don't you throw them in the trash when they are empty like everyone else? Edited December 1, 201510 yr by bino
December 1, 201510 yr Will they refill the empty boxes? I always wondered who would buy the soft packages of cigarettes and why. They cost the same as the hard boxes which are much better in protecting the ciggies.
December 3, 201510 yr If thats not an incentive to start smoking I dont know what is Now they only need to give me money for the empty beer bottles and I am financed
December 3, 201510 yr Author You really had 17 empty cigarette boxes lying around to cash in? Don't you throw them in the trash when they are empty like everyone else? The Shop owner informed me serval times about it, so i kept them, not a big deal since we separate recycle stuff anyway (makes the cleanup staff happy)
December 3, 201510 yr OP what brand of cigarettes ?Mevious (former Mild 7)That's what I was worried about mate - my local mom & pop are giving me 10bt per empty pack rebate and packs discounted to 70bt. I smoke the Mevius crystal greens, so maybe a different promotion or maybe they are pocketing the 6bt difference..[emoji6] Edited December 3, 201510 yr by realfunster
