geovalin Posted December 5, 2015 Share Posted December 5, 2015 Khmer Times/Phun Chan Ousaphea KANDAL – A man was killed after he was shocked by a battery in a rice field Thursday morning in Khsach Kandal district. Police said the victim is 45-year-old farmer Jay Chheourn. Police said Mr. Chheourn placed an electrified wire connected to a 70-amp battery around his rice field in an attempt to keep rats away from his crops at night. At 1 am on Thursday, he was preparing the wire, but he slipped and fell on it.
