Man nabbed with Bt63m worth of drugs on Christmas Eve

The Nation

BANGKOK:-- POLICE have confiscated Bt63 million worth of crystal meth from a drug suspect who was arrested in Bangkok on Christmas Eve.

Ale sae Wu, 30, told police that a drug-trafficking gang paid him Bt10,000 a month to deliver the narcotics in the capital.

"I took the drugs from the gang, led by a man called Meng, stored the stuff and then sent it off to customers as per Meng's orders," Ale said at a press conference Friday.

Police said they received tip-offs and in response they staged an undercover operation to buy 2 kilograms of crystal meth from Ale on Thursday night. After the delivery, police followed Ale and discovered another 19kg of narcotics at his apartment.

Scottish-Chinese.

Loses life for 10k....better to be a jetski scammer.

Sherlock, your credibility meter needs re-calibrating.

Santa will be putting you on the naughty list now !

So, they caught another mule, but the big fish always get away, wonder how that happens!

It's the season to be jolly ☺...

HOHOHO...

Looks like the police are having a good Christmas.

this chap has got to be Chinese with a name like wu it doesn't give his nationality however whatever he is he is just another drug runner and should be dealt with as such.

HOHOHO...

Don't you know

HO HO HO is only used to call bar girls rolleyes.gif

Ale sae Wu, is this a Thai name?

Same same, but different.....

Who cares man.... they got a scumbag of the street.... i couldn't care less if his name was Santa Claus...............

Hmmmm......would the police ever search a Santa Claus? Doesn't seem to be very Yuletide spirited.....hehe

If his story of B10k/mo is true, then I doubt he is Chinese, maybe Thai-Chinese. However, if you are a dealer and think claiming you are a mule will decrease your sentence . . .

Anyone dealing with amounts like 63m is not going to risk carrying it by himself....

I wouldn't be surprised if his boss wears a uniform either...

...what part of his statement do you expect to be true.....come on......

A lot of dangerous work for 10k a month, I guessing something was lost in translation. 100k a month.

Still you would never catch anyone with half doing this unless they were desperate. blink.png

His name sounds like a Chinese name but no matter what nationality just why do they not give it. All other bust nationality given. Is this the Chinese connection that they do not want people to know about.

Alexi Sale was a Russian Liverpudlian. Mr Wu was a totally different person. George Formby thought he was a window-cleaner not a drug mule.
