snoop1130 Posted December 30, 2015 Share Posted December 30, 2015 New Year Road Safety Checkpoints launched in PattayaPattaya One PATTAYA -- A concerted effort is being made to reduce road deaths over the New Year Period around Thailand, and in Pattaya on Wednesday the Highway New Year Checkpoints were launched by the Chief of Banglamung District.Khun Chakorn, the District Chief joined Police and other dignitaries at one of the checkpoints in front of Banglamung Police Station where he confirmed the checkpoints will run from now until 4th January.During last year’s New Year period in Pattaya 10 people were killed and 20 were injured in road accidents, according to official figures.
