I'm on a non-immigrant O visa with an extension of stay which expires in July but my work permit through the foundation with whom I've been volunteering expires in early February.

My volunteer position ends at the end of January. If I start work for another foundation, do I have to reapply for a new visa or just get a new WP with paperwork from the new foundation?

Lastly, is my extension of stay tied to my WP? In other words, when my WP expires, do I have to leave the country or can I stay on legally until my extension of stay ends in July?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Your extension ends on the date you stop working with the foundation.

If you found a another position with another foundation before you current on ends you could transition to the new one without having to leave.
