Thai woman assaulted on Pattaya Island



PATTAYA: -- On Tuesday Morning a 20-year-old woman was transported from Larn Island to Pattaya to receive medical treatment for an assault.

She was treated for severe bruising to her upper-body but Police suspect this was a sexual assault, however, the victim was not prepared to speak about the incident.

The victim’s boyfriend told Police that the pair had gone to the Island for a short holiday and on Monday Night at 9pm the victim had gone outside of their rented apartment to make a phone call. She never returned to the room and the boyfriend began a search for her.

The victim claims she was only assaulted by a Thai man but Police suspect the assault was far more serious.

It will be interesting to see how the BIB turn this into two Burmese guys.

Must have been a Burmese as no Thai would do something like that.

Police said so.

Did the RTP check her boyfriend....

Probably had a fight, he smacked her around and told her to make up a story...

Maybe same guy that did similar a few months ago? Fine him and let back out to repeat offenses? Nah, police would never do that.....

They will conceivably "find" her underwear in a migrant camp - and she will change her story in exchange for the information that she was also raped not being released ?

Pattaya seems to feature a lot now for criminality. Never ventured there.Never want to.

For a "government" so determined to fight corruption, it's amazing that Pattaya has been left largely untouched. But that just shows you how 'serious' they are about it, really.

I asked that a couple of months ago , on my map of Thailand Pattaya is part of the mainland . Maybe not part of the real world though.
