THAILAND -- A 29-year-old man died immediately after being hit by a bus along Sukhumvit Road this morning during rush hour.

Bus number 511 was approaching a stop in Bangna district when Sarawaut Chancaeng allegedly jumped in front of the bus and was hit by the left front wheel.

Bangna locals claimed that the man had been seen regularly crossing the road and assumed to be mentally-ill, said the police.

"Sarawaut Chancaeng allegedly jumped in front of the bus"

"The bus driver, Narong Tonthongkham, 52, said the bus was decelerating as it was approaching the bus stop when suddenly a man jumped in in front of it."

"The bus driver has been charged with reckless driving resulting in death." wai2.gif

How can they charge the bus driver if the man jumped in front of the bus???

Because he is guilty of the worst sin in Thailand : He is poor !!

Be a Red Bull heir, drive a Ferrari, kill a police officer and you walk...................coffee1.gif

Yep, crossing the road, everyone knows that's a sign of insanity.

Not as insane as blaming and charging a driver with murder when someone commits suicide by jumping in front of their vehicle, but pretty close...
