PATTAYA: -- A bizarre incident occurred at a Home Improvement Store in South Pattaya on Tuesday Night which left a toilet in pieces and an angry customer demanding an exchange for a new one.

Police were called to HomePro at Big C Xtra on the Central Pattaya Road just before 8pm where staff were in negotiations with Khun Tanagorn aged 52, who decided to smash an already broken toilet on the shop floor after he was refused an exchange for a new one.

He had taken two toilets to the shop, which he had recently purchased for 2,890 Baht each and stated that both were faulty.

Obviously had the desired effect, he eventually got them both changed!

Lucky he didn't damage the floor...could have been an expensive re-tiling job.

At least the second toilet was only covered in cement.

Could have been some thing else.

Perhaps this man did not know that he is supposed to try out all merchandise before paying for it.

That model of one piece MOYA toilet suite has molding holes in the rear which are left unsealed by porcelain glaze in many instances. A friend had 2 replaced FOC by Chiang Mai Hangdong HomePro despite cement/silicon residue.

"You sold me a crap bog!".

Reminds me of a certain scene from the movie Jackass. :-)

I would have been better if it had been a "Farang", then it would have been all over Thai social media and Thais would have had a great day ranting about "crazy Farang", now its only business as usual because it's a Thai.

So "HomePro at Big C Xtra on the Central Pattaya Road" (from the article) is now a "South Pattaya Home Improvement Store" (from the headline)? Duly noted.

Happens to me all the time when I shit bricks...?

Just downgrade to the trusty old hole in the floor. Hi-Tech such as farang crappers are notoriously unreliable.

Sounds like a load of CRAP to me.

Good to see the police got to the bottom of it.

Well it seems sometimes Thais are confrontational. tongue.png

When I saw the headlines I knew this would end up being a topic full of CRAP replies...

The Greeks only do it with plates, hope they don't start doing it with toilet bowls in restaurants, that will really put me of my Mousaka.

Good to see that it give Thais who learned to complain if they got shit for their money!!! Press and police are not the attention what this shops want. 555

RIP toilet.

You break it you bought it.

I suppose we will be needing security at HomePro now.

A lot of car-rage, bar-rage, judge-rage, land-rage, toilet-rage stories lately.

Is Thai society getting uptight?

This thread is utter toilet trash!
