Mr. Banharn Discussed Educational Problems With Education Minister

Mr. Banharn discussed with Education Minister on educational problems

Former Prime Minister and Chart Thai Party leader Banharn Silpa-archa (บรรหาร ศิลปอาชา) had a discussion with Education Minister Wichit Srisa-arn (วิจิตร ศรีสอ้าน) on various educational matters. Mr. Banharn believes that Prof. Dr. Wichit can lead Thailand's education to the right track within his one-year period of administration.

Mr. Banharn revealed that he and Prof. Dr. Wichit share the same perspectives in some educational issues. However, the former premier raised the issue of inadequate disbursement as he had experienced earlier while he supervised Banharn-Chamsai 7 School in Suphan Buri (สุพรรณบุรี) Province. Mr. Banharn said that Prof. Dr. Wichit understands this problem well as he is directly responsible for educational reformation.

According to the Education Minister, his officials are speeding up to tackle the inadequate disbursement of each student.

This afternoon, M.R. Pridiyathorn Devakula (ปรีดิยาธร เทวกุล), the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, will travel to the Education Ministry to chair a meeting on educational concerns and budgets.

M.R. Pridiyathorn said he is directly assigned by Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont to help the Education Ministry on managing its problems.
