jonnyscot
Hi, looking to find the above product or similar that apparently when digested produces higher doses of Allicin, an active ingredient (if that's the correct description) of garlic, I know there's loads of garlic capsules or tablets available here but wanted to try to find above product or similar if possible I can find some US mail order sites, but wondered whether anyone has come across this or and other branded name similar product in thailand? Thanks
sirocco
Hello, Garlic, dried, there are everywhere, in all stores in Thailand. Now, say that this is the same effect as fresh garlic, this is not certain. Should read his composition. I put garlic in all my dishes, cooked meat and vegetables, and fresh in my dressing for salads.
jonnyscot
Yes I know I should read the composition, which is why I'm looking for the above specific type or similar, apparently many of the available garlic tablets don't provide your body with the Allicin claimed, noting that Allicin is produced as far as I'm aware when 2 enzymes in fresh garlic are joined, as an example amongst other ways in crushing garlic, but I'd love to be in a position like you and put fresh garlic in all my dishes, unfortunately since I work offshore away for 8 weeks at a time it's not really practical to be carrying quantities of fresh garlic in my suitcase every time, so looking for alternatives Thanks
sirocco
sure, walking around with kilos of garlic in his suitcase, it is surprising. Only the capsules of garlic extract allicin standarisé and enterosoluble coating that are effective. Do not buy the deodorized garlic, this reduces the allicin content. Must ask in all pharmacies and para-pharmacies. I've seen several brands.

jonnyscot
If you can name one or more of the particular brands that you have seen that is proven to produce sufficient quantities of Allicin then I'd be delighted to find it, as far as I am aware the product I named in the title is one of few on the market, so if you have information on further brands I'd be delighted to hear Thanks
sirocco
eh! no, I'm sorry, I do not buy the capsules garlic, but the brand "herbal one" done this. If not, are looking for "amazon" "ebay" "lazada" and compare the composition.
jonnyscot
Yes, I found an online international supplier as mentioned, but was looking at whether similar products were locally available, save on any duty and more easily accessible Thanks anyway
