webfact Posted February 18, 2016 Share Posted February 18, 2016 UNHCR thanks Thai government for its care to refugeesBANGKOK, 19 February 2016 (NNT)-The Minister of Social Development and Human Security has assured the UNHCR Regional Representative in Thailand that the Thai government will care for refugees in accordance with humanitarian principles.Police General Adul Saengsingkeaw made the pledge during his meeting with the UNHCR Regional Representative in Thailand, Ms. Ruvendrini Menikdivela, who paid a courtesy call on him at the ministry.The two discussed the current refugee situation in Thailand especially those living in large cities and Rohingya migrants.
