February 25, 201610 yr Khmer Times/Aisha Down Cambodia’s drought has hit even the coldest provinces, as Ban Lung’s main water supplier, Tai Seng Phalit Teuksaat Co., broadcast drought warnings to the residents of Ratanakkiri early this week, advising residents to start rationing water. Tai Seng, the owner of the company, said that he is worried that there will not be enough water for the provincial capital in April. “If that happens, I’ll ask the provincial government to allow me to start pumping water from Boeung Keun Saing,” he said. This is the first year that Mr. Seng is considering drawing water from the lake in the center of the capital.
