Hotels that were renovated

Featured Replies

I stayed in quite a few hotels in Bangkok over the past 2 years. I know Crowne Plaza used to be a Pan Pacific and double tree the old Tara.

Currently staying in millennium Hilton and was wondering if they also bought it out from previous owners. Actually if you know any other "older" hotels that were bought out and renovated I'd appreciate it.

The Peninsula has changed to the Four Seasons and now to the Anantara Siam.

Millennium Hilton was originally earmarked to be a Sofitel, but never opened as such. Has always operated as a Hilton.

Ramada, Suk soi 12 is now the "Sukhumvit 12"

Best "Sow's ear" into a "Silk Purse"? "Beats" boutique hotel in Phra Khanong...formerly "69 Hotel"... a rat infested flop house.
