Balance
Let's not forget that following a flood unleashed by the chief of the Tai gods, the 3 surviving kings and a buffalo returned to earth and taught the 3 kings how to lay out rice pattie around Diem Bien Phu and grow rice. After finishing, the buffalo died and from it a huge plant grew with giant gourds. When these were opened by the kings humankind poured forth to populate the earth. Following this origin myth of how we all got here, we all owe a debt to the celestial buffalo. So, perhaps 5 million Bht is not such a high value? This is from the mythical story of Khun Borom told by the Lao people, which precipitated the physical expansion of the Tai-speaking peoples to the east and south. jobin
Of course this fine animal is not judged worth 5,000,000 baht coz he might be good to eat. Oh no. He is highly valued because of what his testicles make: top class sperm cells. What are you worth?
