Thai PTT to Add 70 Gas Stations by 2020

Featured Replies

Khmer Times / Sok Chan

An additional 70 gas stations will be set up across the country by 2020 by PTT (Cambodia) Limited, a subsidiary of Thailand’s PTT oil and gas conglomerate, while retail prices will soon be regulated to reflect the fluctuations in global oil prices. The Commerce Ministry will announce a pricing mechanism next week that will be approved by the government and all retail gas stations to reflect the continuing changes in the global oil price, officials said.

Mr. Bin Many Mialia, the deputy managing director of PTT (Cambodia), told Khmer Times that PTT has about 25 gas stations and that number will be expanded by 70 as the PTT group expands its business. He said the PTT group has also added about 150 outlets in the Philippines as well as increased its number of outlets in Laos and Myanmar. He added that PTT is expanding in line with ASEAN integration and the 70 new Cambodian outlets would meet rising demand.

ThaiVisa, c'est aussi en français

ThaiVisa, it's also in French

Can you imagine the reaction if Cambodian, Burmese or Laotian businesses were to expand into Thailand?

Let's hope the Thai people really understand the consequences of ASEAN and AEC. This country can't have it both ways.
