KhunBENQ
Found in the other newspaper (links not allowed). Government approves two extra public holidays in 2016 to make up for long weekends. Friday May 6th Monday July 18th All government offices incl. immigration closed. Both extra holidays will create four day long weekends with the usual implications (heavy traffic, Pattaya clogged). (I hope more sources will be found soon) Edited March 8, 2016 by KhunBENQ

Tywais
Extra holidays what. I have never seen a country with more holidays. For those of us working here, I'm not complaining. Though sometimes I have to think of what to do with myself with all that extra time on my hands.

KhunBENQ
Coronation Day, May 5th: no alcohol ban (very unlikely). Asanha Bhucha and Khao Phansa, July 19th and 20th: alcohol ban (very likely). The extra days of course no ban.
