Best P1 English Program School in Pattaya

My step daughter will be starting P1 next term. She has been in a good nursery school, can speak English fluently, count and do ABCs in English etc which is quiet good for a six year old. My budget won't stretch to an international school so we are looking at a good English Program school for her. We have heard good and bad things about all the various EP schools in and around Pattaya and are totally confused as to which school to choose. If you are a parent or teacher and can give us some recommendations for good schools (or bad to be avoided schools) I would appreciate your feedback.

If you think your advice would be too sensitive to publish online you can always 'personal message' me to avoid publishing it.

As with all things in Thailand, the more expensive the school, is no guarantee of quality.

Thanks for your help.

My daughter has attended Burapa School (BEST) since nursery, and now she is in P4, whilst its not Regents School, it is value for money. Mostly teachers are from the Philippines, with a few Europeans but are dedicated and hardworking in my eyes.

For clarity and disclosure, I did work there for many years, and presently am working in Africa as a Principal of an International Senior College,

Dhammasiri Suksa Sattahip school is good. I worked there for a number of years and liked the way the EP is run. Western English teachers only for P1 and above.

Am interested, is there an update on this? Did you enroll at the Burapa School? Is it any good? I am in a similar situation and not sure about which school for my daughter.

If you are still looking in the Pattaya area have you considered Srisuvit on the Sukhumvit Road just north of Pattaya on route 3  (13.026966 N & 100.931627 E) My son was at an international school and we considered that the Thai language teaching was well below par. he is in the English program and there are only three of them in the class. As a consequence he is able to have extra tuition on his Thai language as the staff were made fully aware of the short comings in Thai before we made the change and it is working very well. They have two term a year and one other point to remember is that the cost is significantly less that the "International Schools". All subjects taught in the English program are taught by native English speakers and all the Thai staff speak excellent English. head of the English program is an American and has taught at other English language school here in Thailand.
