Quite often questions asked about things like income in Thailand

You may all know about this site, but I did not:

Some interesting Thai data, though, of course, you can never be sure here of its reliability. But Correlations, or not!?, between household income, land use, poverty.

Was delighted to see that, as far as I can tell only in Phuket did household expenditure exceed household income!!

Some interesting reading - thank you.

Your link did not work for me. This one may be better. http://knoema.com/atlas/Thailand

To be honest I never heard about this data provider.

Would all info be reliable (as long as statistics are reliable) ?

Very interesting. Thank you, "laolover88", for posting. And, like, "Halfaboy", I hope the underlying data is accurate.

How can it be accurate? Is the data saying that Thai household debt doesn't really exist?

"Thai households have an average debt of 248,004 baht each this year which represents an increase of 13.16 percent of last years average of a 219,158 baht which is the highest in ten years, according to a poll result of the University of Thai Chamber of Commerce."

One thing I have learned in Thailand is do not believe the polls. They took a survey of 1200 homes and said that was what all of Thailand is. did they take them in Bangkok or a couple of small villages in Issan?

Are you aware of any country in the world where household debt isn't on the rise ?

The purpose of data is to figure out how the debt compares to the income.
