NancyL
Central Dept. stores has some in their housewares dept. So do the grocery stores. I think you're just going to have to shop around and maybe settle for a couple of smaller ones in each drawer, rather than trying to find big cutlery trays. MrBrad
Another option would be to have your tray(s) custom built to fit the drawer. There are people in many villages who do fine woodwork or furniture building or the like. It shouldn't cost too much, and, better yet, it would be done to your specifications. The Japanese used to manufacture high-quality stuff in the 1950's-1980's. Not anymore....

buddhalady
Muji - one of those 'little bit of everything you didn't realise you needed' stores - the Japanese love them! I used to visit Muji during business trips to Japan for their ultra-cool designs, great prices great and good quality - even if I didn't actually need anything, I still came out with a bag full! When they opened a store in London's Covent Garden Market area, I called in but prices were ludicrously high in comparison with the Japanese stores and the designs had lost their edge. Didn't know there's one in Central, must give it the once-over.
