Anybody have a HAIER fridge or A/C?

Featured Replies

Love it or hate it? Inverter fridge? The name sounds GErman, the salesman said they are made in Thailnd. Thanks.

my experience with HAIER freezer and tablet /phone

freezer arrived in a non working condition tablet ok for about 1 month

where are they made /assembled ? wherever is cheapest i would not personally recommend either of these products

its a situation of to good to be true comes to mind

Haier is made in china ...you get what you pay for the price though there are some products which are good and Long lasting and depends on the user too

I confirm: Haier is made in China.

I've had a Haier fridge (bought new) and it was complete crap:

- totally deficient regulation, depending on the day it would either freeze food hard or let it rot. I had to adjust the temperature control knob all the time

- lasted for less than 3 years before the internal stuff (trays etc.) started to lose paint, develop cracks in plastic...

- it was an electricty hog

Haier? never again for me.

Thanks all. I'll stick to the Japanese or Korean stuff.

I would even refuse it if I got it as a present.

Some of them work :) Fridge we gave to my sister in law 9 years ago is still going fine.

Their products are a hit and miss due to the Low price range

So I would for small appliances like a kettle and fan etc which is mass produced in China for hotels in local China hotels and robust enough to last for years

Big ticket items maybe better to pay a little bit more and get the Korean or Japanese Brand’s

Haier mini fridges for our low end rental apartments. That's what they are good for. They work for the most part and if they break down, we Thai rig them until they die and then replace them. Have had units break down within a year, but also have a least a hundred working after 5+ years as well.
