richy2201
Could anyone advise how long, from experience does it takes to receive blue book from finance company on completion of payments? I finished payments with Thanachart last month, submitted all docs etc and await arrival of the blue book. I purchased the car (while living) in Pattaya (have Pattaya plates) but am now living in Bangkok and used BKK address for transfer of blue book - will this cause any complications i.e. will I have to change plates? Many Thanks for any help in advance
JoeW
Seeing that there are quite a lot of holidays, etc and that Songkran is now on the way 1 month seems reasonable. I got mine from Thanachart after 3 weeks.
PoolHustler
it will come soon, about 1 month is the norm, your car will still be registered in Pattaya, the address you gave them will be in the blue book and means nothing to the car registration
mortenaa
One month? When I finished paying my BMW, I got the Blue Book from BMW Finance within two days...
JoeW
That's because they prepared all the necessary documents, etc on time. For people who own a car of the masses, it tends to take a bit longer
gandalf12
Why is the vehicle make relevant? I have a BMW as well but I don't see the significance as to why it is specified in the post
Wiggy
Coincidentally I'm paying mine off today with Tisco Bank. They said I'd have the blue book in two weeks' time and with a 1,210 baht transfer fee.
