webfact Posted April 13, 2016 Share Posted April 13, 2016 Russians Arrested For Counterfeiting In PattayaPATTAYA: -- Pattaya police raided the Print Express Store located at 143/84, soi 10, Thepprasit Road in South Pattaya yesterday after receiving information that print shop was a front for counterfeit document printing and other forgeries.After receiving a tip off that the shop was printing fake Russian driving licenses, Police Colonel Prapansak Prasansook ordered his lieutenant, Colonel Rattapong Tearsood to set up surveillance and execute a sting operation using undercover officers.After gathering enough evidence the immigration police and soldiers from the Nawamin Rachinee army camp in Chonburi raided the business premises. The first floor of the building was empty but when entering the second floor they discovered the print shop owner, Mr Ruslan Galliamov, 29, sitting at a coffee table with his Thai wife and 4 Russian citizens. If you walked around Pattaya with your eyes open you would realise you do not need to go to Bangkok to get fake documents... Raids of this type are very selective... If you have ever looked at them, they are not actually copies of the real thing, they are not just bad copies they are actually designed to be different, I don't know but this may be a way of staying legal. One Russian, Mr Abdul Ivanovis, 22, was found in possession of a backpack containing of several counterfeit documents including a Russian passport, medical certificate and certificate from the Russian Consulate.
