Breaking News Update: Samco Armoured Truck Robber is Navy Seal Frogman



PATTAYA: -- At 11:00 AM on Friday 22nd of April Pattaya Provincial Police of Region 2 and a team of inspectors arrested Chief Petty Officer First Class Mr. Thanom Puangkratok in connection with the robbery of a Samco Armoured Truck.

The Navy Seal Frogman has been arrested on the charge of robbing a Samco Armoured Truck containing 8.8 million baht in a daring day time robbery in South Pattaya.

that's what I hate about Pattaya, virtually every bar has an retired Navy seal, SAS hero MI5/6 Spymaster or 2 Para squaddie sitting in the corner.

The Wild Chicken on Soi Post Office is the watering hole of choice for GENUINE seals, both active (when on training assignments and post-mission decompression) and retired (typically between benders, mid-life crises and wives). The dead ones generally don't stop by anymore. I went drinking with some of the younger ones a few weeks ago and they are NOT to be taken lightly in that regard. Some of these guys are seriously damaged goods but the older buggers are pure entertainment and have some real stories to tell.
