Special Needs School Samui Near Completion

post-247607-0-33475400-1461363059_thumb.

KOH SAMUI: As one can see from the following photographs the “Special Needs School – Samui” is almost completed, with only a School 1few further details such as Guttering and railings etc to finish. The result is a magnificent tribute to everyone who has so kindly committed time, effort and funds to this project.

The final outstanding matters are:-

1. The completion of Hard and Soft landscaping.
2. Furnishing and equipping of the interior.

The Rotary Club of Canada has kindly sent B50.000.00 towards installing furnishings, though further donations are still required.

Can anyone assist us in carrying out the landscaping? If so please contact Claudia (Eng) [email protected] or Ying (Thai) [email protected]

Details of the “Grand Opening” will be announced shortly.

This is one reason ThaiVisa is such a critical part of the Thai news landscape. It is to allow articles like this to be circulated amongst the happy, content expats living throughout the country.

Such a wonderful initiative and worthwhile cause to donate to. I will be emailing Claudia to contribute a few baht towards some furniture.

Great to see a "good news" story...thumbsup.gif

Where is this located?

I am sure many local members here, could contribute towards the soft landscaping , by donating plants overgrown in their garden and need dividing... although having said that it would need to be well co-ordinated...

I'll make contact with Claudia and see how we can help make this work!

I was taken there yesterday by one of the funding groups (Rotary)

The building is almost complete.... thumbsup.gif

It's a huge project for landscaping ... I have offered to help with perhaps getting nurseries and perhaps some of the TVF members to help donate plants and materials...

I'll have some meetings with the groups involved and keep posting as to progress... this will need a lot of help!

It's located almost next to the airport...
