April 29, 201610 yr I'm surprised that a lawyer hasn't worked out that they could stalk Thai forums, spot libellous comments and then get an order for the poster's IP address. For anyone in Thailand posting from home/their phone that would probably mean a negotiated payment to make the case go away (the point of the exercise) or lengthy Court cases.

Three men i know have already been taken into custody and questioned about their comments on social media. Rewards are pending for those who dobbed them in.
