Dumbastheycome
Plastic Muslims. What about all of their 'no poison shall pass my lips' stuff. I'm amazed at how Muslims who are not supposed to smoke drink or listen to music seem to forget all about it when they get to Thailand and other countries.. Yup. But try insulting the prophet and they'll come for your throat, even while drunk Yup. But no different in reality to the "good' Christians inhabiting same bars etc. Or Buddhists, come to that! Yup. People is people. And when social normality is inhibited by the influences of a varietyof excuses the result is often dramatic. And those voyeurs of bad news that love to piously condem the event but have no actual motivation to assist in solving the cause are the lesser. Duncan Donut
Pattaya One reports the killing occurred in a 'Beer Bar', whereas the Kuwait Times states a 'Café'…..both cannot be correct. The Q8 Times states the victim was a "moral guidance officer"…..did his job description include flapping his gums about virtuous conduct at 4am in a Beer Bar? HaleySabai
Thailand really starts to change for the worst after midnight. It seems that just about all the fights, robberies, crazy motorbike racing accidents etc happen during the late hours. Best to have your fun and head home before too late. The time between 2am to 4am is known as the "blood hours"- thats what an EMS guy tolded me while describing his job (with a smile) of driving around ChiangMai and scraping kids off the road, throwing them in the back of the pick-up truck and taking them to a hospital and receive a type of cash bounty.....life is so cheap here.
