Influential people the other world for Mafia

That's the implication and you bought into it. If you read the OP you will see that influential means Pheu Thai.

Influential people of the red persuasion.....

Glad to see the little general is being so even handed in his quest to stamp out corruption he is truly enlightened and his work will no doubt bring more happiness to a certain sector of the people....

2 out of 12 doesn't seem like a pattern to me - or maybe I missed something

Now that you mention it, you did miss something. The pattern is that 100% of those mentioned are PTP.

This is what happens to political opposition in a military police state...

No freedom of expression here...move along please...

The question remains...were the criminals the influential people of Samut Prakarn...or the people making the raid?...coffee1.gif

A worthwhile question that may be answered here.

Amazingly, all the houses raided belong to Pheu Thai politicians. What are the odds?

The BP reports that every single weapon confiscated is legally registered.

Raids on houses of Pheu Thai politicians ‘yield weapons’

HOUSES of Pheu Thai Party politicians, including former members of Parliament, were among 14 locations in Samut Prakan targeted yesterday in coordinated raids involving more than 100 police and military officers.

The raids came just a little more than a week after one targeting locations that included houses of Pheu Thai politicians. However, authorities dismissed perceptions that the latest searches were politically motivated.

Blimey what is the odds of that happening with all the talk about reconciliation and bringing happiness to the people, a sceptic might be calling BS on that one but I am sure there will be an apologist along shortly to put their minds at rest....
