Thai Rak Thai asks supporters to criticise Govt on website

The Thai Rak Thai Party is calling on its supporters to air their frustrations about the current government and express political opinions on its website.

Party leader Chaturon Chaisang told caretaker executive member Ekaporn Rakkwamsuk and the Thai Rak Thai publicity team to create a blog on www.thairakthai.or.th.

The team will ask questions to entice a response on current government policies.

"This is a way for the public to release their frustration over government action such as its move to scrap the Bt30 medical scheme,'' Ekaporn said.

Just remember the current guidelines on political postings here.

News is news... and at ThaiVisa we try to post items that we find are informative but not critical... impartial, but informed (to the best of our ability).

For lack of a better way to put it, spoiled children who have been naughty and now complaining that their toys got taken away. Forgive my opinion but it reflects of a certain arrogance associated with the TRT. :o

Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the wall at one of these TRT meetings. How do they come up with this, a comedy writer couldn't think up better.

The government want to make health care free, and TRT want people to complain that they are doing away with charging them for their healthcare!!!!!!! :D

LMAO

For me in tot,the site doesn't work

error dns :o

Worked for me, but I couldn't read it.

Is this not going further than flogging a dead horse?

Could TRT ever hope to become the main party again?..... wait a minute, I live in Isaan...... stupid stupid me :D

The present government has been approved by the extremely nice man standing along with his lovely wife when you enter TRT's webpage. What an insult!

It seems TRT just don't get the message. Instead of asking the people for suggestions on how to improve their party they just want to stir up emotions against the encumbents. In providing "The team", i.e. TRT member, it appears that "The team" will be in a position to manipulate opinion. For each PC literate person participating in this blog you can bet the chinese whispers will reach 100 or so.

I'll shut up now before I say something politically incorrect if I haven't already done so.

Other than the main pigs that were pushed from the trough, the main priorities for the rest of the pigs, is to get their snouts back in as soon as possible i.e. switch party and distance themselves from TRT.

They couldn't influence many on the net anyway as most PC owners will be educated enough :o not to fall for this stunt.

Thats the name of the game. :o If you're not in the trough - you're nothing in Thai politics. There are no other principles. "Principles?" - Pah! :D

How long would parties calling themselves "Americans love Americans", or "Brits love Brits" or even better "Germans love Germans" be able to exist in their own countries? Rhetoric question....

I think TRT's stubborness is only giving the courts more reasons to dissolve the party forever, the sh!t stirring they're doing will only lenghten their individual bans from politics.

Arn't they replacing it with a free health scheme? :o

Sounds like a page out of the TRT Vote book doesn't it...LOL
