Furniture Removal From Sattahip to Phetchabun City

Featured Replies

I've tried Bigmove and Quickmove and drawn blanks. The former hasn't replied to an email and the latter only operates out of Bangkok.

I need the name & number of a reputable local (to Pattaya) removal company who might be prepared to handle a removal of approximately 500km.

Any help from someone with recent experience of such a move will be gratefully received.

I moved from Jomtien to Hua Hin 5 years ago and used one of those guys off the Sukhumvit near Tesco Lotus Pattaya (Theprasit) cost 20k and they did a good job.

And I used them 2 years ago when I moved back

May be a bit dated but I see the trucks for hire are still there wink.png

Yep, drive up and down any stretch of Sukie and you will see many trucks of all sizes parked at the curb, usually with phone numbers displayed on them. Sizes range from pickups to huge. Find a couple of the size you need, get their numbers (or talk to the drivers, who are often sleeping in the cabs or eating at the nearest vendor stand), and get a quote. Also, you need to specify how many movers you actually need...driver plus at least two labourers (hi-so driver doesn't do "manual labour" ?).

Thanks for your replies Mick & Donald. A friend also suggested I try the Sukhumvit drivers from his own personal experience. I've driven that stretch of road many times but never noticed the lorries. Obviously I'll need to keep my eyes wide open on my next drive there.

There are usually many, especially between South to North Pattaya roads on both sides of Suk. They aren't marked as moving trucks...just trucks of all sizes ready for hire for whatever use needed.
