Mobi
I have been using VPN's for years, and right up to last week it worked fine. Today it won't connect, so I tried to set up a new network connection in case it had become corrupted. But when I clicked on 'set up a new connection', nothing happens. The window comes up telling me to wait for up to 90 seconds but nothing - even after 10 minutes. I assume something has happened to my OS system (W7) to block the setting up of new connections and/or the operation of my vpn. Could this be in a Windows update? or something in my anti-virus software. I use Avast and Malwarebytes and cc cleaner, but have been using these for years. Any suggestions how to go about checking/fixing? Thanks Mobi

RKASA
If you have internet connection and it won't open make a new one i.e. VPN then check your permissions and be sure you have the right to make changes

Windows won't let me make a new one... the box just remains blank. Never happened before. I wonder if I can try as administrator?
