Chicog
They confessed to the robbery, saying that they wanted to find money to buy educational resources. Is that a euphemism for mature hookers? Edited July 25, 2016 by Chicog

lvr181
Damn - my thinking has been compromised. I always thought that the farang male was the ATM not the machine? But I hope the tourist gets his money back. A crime of opportunity that can happen in any country of the world, not just Thailand. These kids should thank their lucky stars (or amulets) they are not living in a devout Muslim country!

The forum headline reads " American tourist robbed at ATM by the Deerhunter". ... and if you read something on TV , then you know it must be true . KhonKaenKowboy
I would have picked up the smaller one, and used him as a weapon to beat the less smaller one.
jobin
Stealing not good but folks here are really getting bent out of shape over US$285. Let's get real, plz. Chopping a hand off for cost of a 'good' bottle of wine seems 'out of shape' to me.
Gillyflower
I'm sorry Jobin, but I find US$285 quite a lot of money, and I can buy a good few bottles for that amount, but I agree that cutting off hands is a bit extreme. I can't get the full story, something wrong with the database.
