scorecard
My son wants to add another tree to his fruit tree collection and the family voted for an apple tree. Is it possible in the CM climate? If so, can anybody suggest a specific variety of apple, hopefully sweet and juicy. Thanks.
ilostmypassword
Maybe you'd have better luck asking in the farming forum?

KhonKaenKowboy
you can grow those bell shaped red apples that the fruit carts sell in Mueang CM. They can be prone to pests and disease. I've seen some good pomegranates...consider them.
Sandy Freckle
Having some experience growing apples in another country, I would suggest seeking a 'low chill' variety for the CM area...., also I'm guessing the higher the altitude the better for the CM region. You may already know these things...., good luck.
