Search sponsors, with their websites you don't need any agency.

Don't know how much a taxi would be, it's cheap anyway. Tuk-tuk cut the price on the spot, could be anything, a rip-off I mean. Avoid.

Theres a hotel on Suriwongse called the Manohra. its a bit tired, but clean and cheap (about 1000 walk in, you can probably get a better deal on sawadee.com or somewhere like that). Has a big buffet breakfast which makes it even better value.
