Due to crime, Koh Larn to get it’s own police station

PATTAYA: -- It looks like Pattaya Police will open a new police station on Koh Larn after reflecting on several incidents lately that have had a bad effect on tourism and the reputation of the holiday island.

 

Pol. Col. Apchai Krobpetch, Pattaya Police Chief, announced that the new station will serve tourists more quickly than having to get help from mainland Pattaya when things go wrong.

 

The chief did not say when this new station will open.

Shame our village can't send them the newly built one we have, because I don't think it's used for anything other than letting BIB live there...I've never seen police-policing in our "so large" village of a/b 300 residents. Come to think of it why was a new police station built? The previous one was in decent condition. ???? Beats me.
