BANGKOK:-- Police continue to remain tight lipped as the now infamous body in the freezer case enters its second week.

Three foreign suspects were arrested on September 23rd in Sukhumvit Road Soi 56 in a raid concerning a passport forgery operation. A tourist policeman was shot and wounded in the raid.

A cut up body later named as Charles Edward Ditlefsen, a US national of Hungarian descent, was found in six pieces in the freezer.

The suspects continue to say little. They have been named as US nationals William Peter Johnson, 66, or Herbert Craig La Fon, Aaron Thomas Gabel, 40 and James Douglas Eger, 63.

Metropolitan police chief Lt-General Sanit Mahathavorn was at Prakhanong police station yesterday for an update meeting.

In response to press questions about visiting an embassy on Wednesday he said that was true. He revealed he had met a person with important
information about the case but Sanit would give no further details.

In reference to the forensic examination of the corpse he was also tight lipped saying that all would be revealed "soon" though he did say that teeth records of the victim were being checked.

It is now understood that the freezer victim, previously reported as being the CEO of a Los Angeles based construction and train track laying firm, was also in debt to the tune of 60,000 US dollars or 2.1 million baht.

They must be so ready to burst it all out: Theories, Evidence, Witness' Addresses, Clues, Motives. It's all there behind those lips waiting for the dam to burst. It's because the FBI is involved, they have to show professionalism. It's just soo unnatural, the temptation soo huge... Soon, very soon now...

Time for a trip to the local witch doctor he will sort it all out and help them put the "pieces" back together. Do they ever rate the BIB on jig saw puzzle assembling? The straight line pieces are usually the border. I know their good at saying "The jig is up buddy"

The cop in the picture looks like he's just smelt something bad, and the bloke on the right thinks it's him!

The fridge was there when they moved in with the lock on, honest! $60k is not a lot of money. Sad for a family who have lost their son, father, husband, friend.

That is a mere pittance compared to what the "Hiso' 'elite' Thai Army officials spent of the Thai 'poor people's' tax money for a 'holiday in Hawaii' (called an official government business trip)...........

I can't wit to see what their expenses were while they were in Hawaii -- meals and bar bills charged to their hotel bills, etc.........
