BANGKOK: -- DEPUTY PRIME Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam said the promulgation of further organic laws would follow processes similar to that of the charter promulgation despite the passing of the King.

 

Wissanu, who is also a legal expert, was responding to concerns that the promulgation of the laws could be affected following the King’s passing. 


He added that the laws would be forwarded to the government after they passed through the National Legislative Assembly (NLA). The government then has 20 days before seeking Royal endorsement, which is expected within 90 days.
