I will return to Thailand on 6th Dec. to renew my retirement extension. After spending hours going through previous posts, I’m still confused as to whether I need to submit a TM30. I have my own house which is in a company name.

My daughter will come to Thailand and will arrive a few days before me. She will have a 60 day tourist visa. I think she will need to submit a TM30. What other documents will she need, I have a blue house book but in company name.

Would appreciate your valued advice

Assuming you are the house master, you can submit a TM 30 listing your daughter. A TM 30 is required by law if she stays at your house.

  • You should be able to submit the TM.30 as the 'Possessor' of the property.
  • Offices around the country have different policies so you need to ask at your local office whether or not they want it.
  • You should also be able to submit the TM.30 for your daughter if required. Include a copy of her passport; ID page, Visa, Entry Stamp and the departure card although it may not be needed.
