October 28, 20169 yr Does anyone know where I can get the above in the Pattaya area please? I know I can go around the various bike shops in pattaya but due to no car transport becasue of an accident I dont want to trawl all over Pattaya on my motorcycle, especially with the chance of being caught out in the rain Also I am interested in swapping or part exchanging, cash either way , my new (2 months old) high end gaming business PC for a Bicycle such as an hybrid 29er or similar 15/16 max 17 inch frame if anyone is interested, PM me for specs, photos, the PC would cost in the region of 50.000 Baht and is loaded with Win 10 fully updated and lots of software including windows office, Kodi Nolimits (where you can stream all of the live TV and movie streams from all over the world etc) to your big TV Thanks a million.
October 28, 20169 yr Author To answer my own question; I decided to do the rounds of the Pattaya bike shops starting with a local one just off the beginning of nernplubwan where it junctions at the railway bypass road but this one didn't stock a lot of goods so it was a waste of time . Went off down the bypass to Numchai bikes on Sukhumvit, prepared to bite the bullet and pay maybe over the odds. If they didn't have any of the Vittoria tyres I would have gone up Suk to Thepprasit and to the other notably surly lady shopkeeper (I hate giving my dosh to surly and impolite people!) In the event I was pleasantly surprised that not only did Numchai bikes have what I wanted but the price for the tyres was not bad at all (600 baht for the Vittoria adventure 700 x 320 semi road tyre. this is the one that has a white reflective band all around for night riding) So I bought: 2 tyres and 2 inner tubes 1400 baht one puncture repair kit with two tyre levers 100Baht On set of front and rear mudguards 300 Baht. Checking the prices on Lazada I was also pleased that Numchai do well in being very competitive for what I used to think their over priced bits and pieces The Numchai Matriarch was not in attendance either today and I was served with courtesy and good humour by I think children of the numchai empire, what a nice change, the presence of the Matriarch used to put me off (and Many of my biking friends) going to shop there previously.
