Print Screen/not Work/software

Featured Replies

We use an old dos software with win2000 to run our production machine.

Of course the print function does not work (only support 1 specific needle printer).

So I tried the Print Screen function (just simply pressing "Prt Scr" on the keyboard).

Nothing worked.

I can do a copy screen and past it in Photoshop and print it, but thats a lot of steps.

When I googled I found hundreds of software which promise to help, but which to take.

Anyone experience with that? Win2000, Dos Software and if possible print what the screen shows by pressing one button.

thanks

Its a long time since I used dos programming but if I remember correctly when you press the print screen button it sends the info to notepad and its from notepad that you can get your hard copy.

I tried it on my laptop (Win XP) and it didnt work but it might with dos. Worth a try anyway.

like expected from microsoft.....

When doing so the the dos program crashes. I think it send it to something wrong, not to the win2000 default printer :o
