donx
My wife is having problems contacting her family via their land line or mobile phone number. I know the mobile numbers have an extra '8' to make it a 10 digit number. When she dials she gets a message saying that the phone number is an invalid number. We know these numbers should be correct unless someone forgot to pay the phone bills (which I doubt). Her family is in Phatthalung. Perhaps phone lines have been disconnected for some reason? Perhaps terrorist concerns or something weather related? My wife said she was able to contact a friend's phone number in Bangkok. Anyone else having problems calling to Southern Thailand? donx
My wife did get in touch with her brother's cell phone, so at least it isn't region-wide. He doesn't know why we can't get in touch with the other numbers but I'm sure we'll find a solution soon.
guardian
Have you tried calling some other number in the South? Probably it's just this number having a problem. You mentioned the message for the mobile phone. What problem are you experiencing for the land line?
