Hi,

Yes I tried to google it but could find only comparisons between the two OS. I'm curious to know the percentage of webhosts that use Linux compared to the % of webhosts using Windows. Seemed most critics felt that feature wise they were about equal, but more leaning towards Linux as a personal thing. I was of the impression that Linux was about 80% but I wanted to be sure.

Far more right now use some form of Unix operating system. Freebsd and Linux both being common. The unix servers seem much better supported, and have more (free) applications written for them.
