just bob
That might make me consider going to see moto gp in Qatar. But Krabi? Its so overcrowded now its ridiculous. Anyone remember how cool it was before they put the airport in?
Clamhua
Krabi makes sense, there is a large muslim population there...lots of halal food and mosques catering to the middle east tourist

Problem solved!

StevieAus
I have flown with Qatar on three occasions from Bangkok to the UK in the last couple of years The service is excellent the fares highly competitive and they have or had the youngest fleet of aircraft Living in the North of Thailand I would be very happy if they commence operating from Chiang Mai This airline leaves Thai Airways far behind in all respects
a10ams
I do Bangkok-Doha-Baku and back every 28 days with Qatar Airways. A great airline and all new planes.
KhunBENQ
My own Qatar experience is quite old (a couple of flights until 2010). At that time the only down-point was the airport. Its high ranking in the airline quality rankings is well earned.
jonwilly
Just been to travel agent to see about CNX flight to Manchester UK. Agent phoned Qatar and they said nothing from CNX before 2018 at earliest. john
Ace of Pop
Krabi isn't much fun if you hav a house in the North As well I've not renewed the contract on my Krabi place,I can't fly direct ,and can't stand DMs connection delays.Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect
Ricardo
Air Asia do have a daily flight direct between Chiang Mai & Krabi, FWIW.
KhunBENQ
Recently in a tweet I have seen pictures from Krabi airport on Feb 3. Terrible queue/masses at the immigration checkpoint, a packed hall. Maybe another reason to rethink using direct international connections?
