BANGKOK: -- A Bhutan teacher who went missing since last week was spotted walking in Samrong district of Samut Prakarn this morning.

The teacher, Mr Harka Bahadur Subba, 39, who came to Thailand with a team of agriculture was on a training of agriculture in Thailand.

He was reported missing at 6.30am on Monday January 23 as he walked from the Sena Place Hotel in the Phahon Yothin area in Bangkok.

His team later returned to Bhutan last week after he could not be contacted.

According to JS100 Radio, Mr Harka was spotted crossing the Sukhumvit road in front of Imperial Samrong department store today.

A CCTV camera at Samrong captured the man in gray striped shirt crossing the road.

JS100 Radio in cooperation with Samut Prakarn provincial police launched a massive search for Mr Harka throughout yesterday after residents living near Chao Phor Thap shrine in Samrong Tai alerted the police after  seeing the Bhutan teacher staying around the shrine.

They told police that the man, who could not communicate with anybody as he spoke only in Bhutan native language, would come to use the toilet at the shrine every morning.

Sorry, didn´t mean to offend. Just that it seems a little bit strange to be missing for that long time, with absolutely no information about what happened. Maybe the fun part of it is in the news reporting that just came without information.

Off course it´s some story behond it. Sad or not sad, is just something we don´t know yet.

While I have no way of knowing any details, I've gotta feeling this guy had some great fun at some point while he was "missing." Bhutan is a very beautiful country, but has very little night life, which is very boring compared to Thailand's. Anyway, good or bad or both, I'm sure it's an interesting story.
