Gmail Problem

Featured Replies

Been having a bit of trouble lately with gmail and POP access. This morning cannot download any mail. Can send mail using POP but not receive. Have tried "deleting files (offline content)", disabling firewall etc. but still cannot receive. Anybody else having similar problems with gmail. By the way I can access my Hotmail account using the mail server, just can't do it with gmail. :o

Same here. SMTP outgoing OK but POP3 incoming corrupt.

The problem is on the GMAIL side and seems to be resolved now.

I think I saw last week that CAT telecom was this week going to be doing some routine maintenance that would have an adverse effect on international traffic. Things sure have been slow this morning, so I’m guessing that's what’s been going on..?

Well, so far it does indeed look like the problem is on the gmail side. Don't know about it being resolved yet or not, as of this moment, I still can't receive. :o

Just tried, worked ok.

Naka.

Yep! Back on line now. Just received my backlog of email.

Thanks for the replies. And yes, now it seems to be working again for me also. Don't know what's going on with gmail, but just recently (last few days), this POP access has been acting up. Hopefully whatever the problem....it will clear up soon (as opposed to continue to get worse). :o
